FPX apoia Bessel Kok para prediente da FIDE
A Direcção da FPX, deliberou, em reunião na semana passada, apoiar a candidatura de Bessel Kok, à presidência da FIDE.
A página oficial do candidato - ver The Right Move - informa ter recebido o apoio oficial da FPX, considerando Portugal o 34º país a apoiar.

As the campaigns heat up for a historic moment in Torino, we are pleased to receive today the statement of support of Portugal, a country with a great chess tradition and participation in FIDE. Portugal and Spain were responsible for introducing chess in Europe thanks to the efforts of the well known Damiano and Ruy Lopez.
The Board of the Portuguese Chess Federation have given their support to the Right Move and further develop the point that no President of FIDE should serve for more than two terms, hence giving the organisation the
